Screaming Eagle is one of the original Californian cult wines, renowned worldwide for its rarity and quality. Founded by Jean Phillips in 1992, the estate produces 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a meticulously farmed vineyard in Napa Valley. The vineyard’s rocky soils, gentle west-facing slopes, and proximity to the Napa River ensure excellent drainage, sun exposure, and cool afternoon breezes, producing grapes with optimal ripeness and flavor. With a production of only 500 cases per year, winemaker Heidi Peterson Barrett crafts wines that display rich cassis, blackberries, black cherry, and layered currant notes.
